Itinerary
Day 1 - Sept 27, 2025
Arrive in Monopoli, Italy
Welcome to Italy! Arrive in Bari or Brindisi airport and transfer to the seaside town of Monopoli. Once at your hotel, the 5-star Don Ferrante Hotel, you can check-in and relax. Welcome aperitivo and dinner with wine will follow as well as an introduction to our Tour Manager.

Day 2 - Sept 28, 2025
Alberobello
After breakfast, you’ll depart for Alberobello, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Italy’s most beautiful villages.
On the way, stop at a charming, family-owned winery for a guided tour of the vineyards, cellar, and cooperage. Your visit will include a curated wine tasting paired with local delicacies, offering a true taste of the region.
Afterward, continue on to Alberobello, where you’ll take part in a burrata-making workshop—an unforgettable experience set inside a traditional Trullo, the signature cone-roofed stone dwellings unique to Puglia.
Following the workshop, enjoy some free time to wander the picturesque streets and explore at your own pace. Later, return to Monopoli, where the evening is yours to enjoy at your own pace. Dinner is on your own
Day 3 - Sept 29, 2025
Ostuni
After breakfast, set out for Ostuni, famously known as the "White City" for its dazzling whitewashed buildings that shimmer under the southern sun.
En route, you’ll stop at a historic masseria for a guided walk through centuries-old olive groves, followed by a tasting of the estate’s artisanal olive oils—a true taste of the region’s agricultural heritage.
Next, continue to Ostuni, where you'll roll up your sleeves for a hands-on cooking class highlighting classic Puglian dishes–likely including the region’s iconic orecchiette pasta. Afterward, enjoy the delicious fruits of your labor over lunch, paired with local wines.
In the afternoon, head into the heart of the city, where you can choose to explore via Tuk Tuk tour or enjoy free time to wander at your own pace.
As the day winds down, you’ll have two evening options:
Depart Ostuni at 5:30 PM to return to Monopoli for dinner on your own,
or
Stay and soak up more of Ostuni’s charm—including its lively nightlife—before heading back to your hotel at 8:30 PM.
Day 4 - Sept 30, 2025
Gioia Del Colle
After breakfast, you’ll depart the hotel for Gioia del Colle, the birthplace of Italy’s first Primitivo plantings and a region celebrated for its deep-rooted winemaking traditions.
Your first stop is at one of the area’s premier Primitivo producers, where you'll enjoy a guided tasting and cellar tour, offering rich insight into the history, terroir, and bold character of this iconic varietal.
Given the region’s reputation for exceptional wines, your journey continues with a visit to a second renowned winery for another curated tasting and behind-the-scenes tour—deepening your appreciation for the diversity of Primitivo expressions in this historic zone.
After the tastings, enjoy some free time to stroll the charming streets of Gioia del Colle at your own pace. Discover a hidden café, browse local artisan shops, or simply soak in the town’s laid-back atmosphere.
In the late afternoon, we’ll return to Monopoli so you can freshen up and relax before heading out for the evening.
Tonight, enjoy a truly memorable dining experience at a Michelin-starred restaurant, where a beautifully curated tasting menu awaits. Celebrate the day’s discoveries with exceptional food and thoughtfully paired wines in an unforgettable setting.
Day 5 - Oct 1, 2025
Locorotondo, Martina Franca
After breakfast, depart your hotel and head to the lively open-air market in Martina Franca. You’ll have free time to explore the colorful stalls, stroll through the historic city center, or relax with a cappuccino at a local café while soaking in the morning buzz.
Next, continue on to the picturesque town of Locorotondo, known for its whitewashed charm and panoramic views. Here, you'll enjoy a guided wine tasting in the heart of the city center, featuring select wines from the Locorotondo DOC. You'll have the special opportunity to sample wines directly from the barrel and amphora, offering a unique glimpse into the region’s traditional and modern winemaking techniques.
After the tasting, take time to wander Locorotondo’s winding alleyways, pop into local artisan shops for a one-of-a-kind souvenir, or treat yourself to a refreshing caffè leccese at the charming Caffè della Villa.
This evening, we’ll return to Monopoli, where you'll have free time to enjoy dinner at your leisure and take in the relaxed coastal atmosphere.
Day 6 - Oct 2, 2025
Bari
After breakfast, you’ll head to Bari, where you’ll meet your private local guide for a one-hour walking tour of Puglia’s vibrant capital. Discover the city’s rich history, charming old town, and iconic landmarks during this immersive introduction.
Following the tour, we’ll enjoy lunch at a local restaurant featuring classic Barese specialties, thoughtfully paired with regional wines.
After lunch, you’ll have free time to explore Bari at your own pace — wander the narrow streets, visit a museum, or simply enjoy a gelato by the sea — before we return to Monopoli in the afternoon.
Back at the hotel, unwind or freshen up before heading to the rooftop terrace for a private wine tasting led by your dedicated sommelier, featuring a curated selection of local wines.
After the tasting, the evening is yours to enjoy. Take a stroll through Monopoli’s charming streets and enjoy dinner at your leisure.
Day 7 - Oct 3, 2025
Monopoli
After breakfast, take a leisurely walk down to the harbor, where you’ll board a private catamaran for a scenic cruise along the stunning Apulian coast. Sail the Adriatic Sea, explore the dramatic sea caves of Polignano a Mare, pause for a swim in the crystal-clear waters, and enjoy a refreshing aperitivo on board as you soak in the coastal beauty.
After your coastal adventure, return to Monopoli for lunch and enjoy some free time to stroll through town, relax at a café, or browse the local shops at your own pace.
In the late afternoon, unwind at your hotel—take a dip in the pool, soak up the sun, or take some time to pack and prepare for tomorrow’s departure.
This evening, you’ll gather for a festive farewell dinner at a local masseria, where a curated menu of regional specialties will be paired with exceptional local wines. It’s the perfect setting to reminisce on your time together and toast to an unforgettable week in Puglia.
